Who says it's just for kids? That's just ageist! For the Easter Artisan Market at the Arnolfini we are laying a hunt for all ages.

The hunt will take place throughout the day, for a £2 entry (discounts for multiple children available)    untangle the clues, find the eggs and win a chocolatey prize at the end! 

Meridian Massage would like to invite you to participate in a Self Massage Workshop. Learn some simple techniques to ease out those aches and pains and to calm and relax yourself. Discover how to work out tension in your neck and to relieve stress with acupressure of the head and face.

Workshops will run for 30-45 minutes at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on 30th March at the Easter Artisan Market at the Arnolfini. Ages 12 and up welcome (children over 8 must be accompanied by an adult.) 
Advanced booking are discounted to £3 or £4 on the day. 

No previous skills required.
 

Moon and Magic are hosting a Junk Bug workshop for the Easter Arnolfini Market in just 24 days time.

All ages are welcome to come and join in this fun, creative workshop and create their very own Bug buddy to take home. Children under 7 should be supervised by an adult or older sibling. 

For a small fee of £3 we will provide pre-painted bodies made from egg cartons, toilet roll tubes and other household recycling, googly eyes on fluffy antennae and everything you could need to make your very own Junk Bug. Just add wings, and sequins and perhaps a dab of glitter. 

This workshop will inspire you to make use of that everyday waste at home and is a great way to welcome the Spring! 

This workshop will run at 1pm and again at 5.30pm and will run for approx. 20-40 minutes. 

Carmen Garaghon of Fitzroy will be hosting a fabulous Fabric Rose workshop throughout the day on the 30th March at the Arnolfini. 

For a mere £5 make a beautiful Fabric Rose. Choose a ready made flower sprayed on Fabric. Cut fabric. Back with lovely vintage fabrics. Stitch around. Stuff and add stem.. simple!!
All ages and skill levels are welcome. (Please note under 7's must be accompanied by an adult) Gain some new skills in hand sewing and try your hand at using a sewing machine. 

Running time approx 45 mins to 1 hour.

Not long to go now until a magnificent army of artisans will descend on the arnolfini for a day of music, workshops and shopping. This event really has everything covered from clothes and accessories to homeware essentials and luxury goods all hand crafted locally with love and care. 
Now that's not all there will be a trained masseuse to work out any of those tight knots left from 2012. Workshops for you crafty types and I've even heard rumors of an Easter Egg Hunt. 
In The Milkwood are curating the music and have secured us a great supply of local talent. There will be a tea stand cleverly located close to the cakes for those who feel thirsty or peckish.  This ragtag bunch of handpicked Designers, artisans and musicians are looking forward to aiding us in hosting this wonderful FREE family event.

Here's hoping you all had a fantastic time and are now back in full swing, we certainly are. 
We have just three months to organize and put on the most spectacular Bazaar event to date, and we need you to pull it off.
We are taking over the Fifth Floor Arnolfini for a full day of workshops, live music and performance and of course plenty of stalls. 

We are no longer able to take bookings for Jewellery, but please get in touch if you are interested still as there be some unexpected cancellations. 
We are specifically looking for the following : CLOTHES : ART : HOMEWARES : HENNA : FACEPAINT. Stalls cost £25 +VAT and traders will need to provide their own tables.

We are all brimming with excitement here at Bazaar HQ! We open in just 2 days time to the public with a night of 1920's inspired dance and music. 

But it's not just a shop with handmade beauties, we have in store an array of craft demonstrations and the odd interactive workshop for you to really understand the hardwork and intricate detail that goes into jewellery making. 

Please note, unless otherwise stated our workshops are kid friendly but must be accompanied by an adult!

On Friday 24th from 12-2 we will have a demonstration using ice resin, to set plants, cogs, paper and other bits and pieces into a clear, smooth surface. Learn different techniques and uses for ice resin.

On Monday 27th from 12-2 we will have a make your own paper beads workshop, for a suggested donation of £2 you can take part in a fun and simple craft. Turn those old magazines into something new and original, learn how to create different beads and make a necklace or bracelet to take home!

On Wednesday 29th ALL DAY, come and learn how to create colourful, unique friendship bracelets for £3. You will learn the basic knots and how to make different patterns, make something for yourself or a friend and learn a skill for life! 

On Saturday 1st September from 2.30-3.30 have a go at making your own earrings with For Frock's Sake! 
For all skill levels for £10. Learn how to create a basic pair of earrings from scratch.  A selection  of glass, lampwork and crackle beads are available for you to choose from.  All other materials are also provided.  Demonstration given and printed handouts to take home so you can carry on creating.   


And that is just a start, there are more creative workshops to be confirmed, details will be posted. 

At 5pm On the 23rd August Bazaar Inspiration’s will be throwing open the doors of The Looking Glass for an evening of 1920’s dance, music and creative company. Have the first chance to snatch up those treasures that have been handmade by our fine Bristol based Artisans, before we open the doors officially on Friday the 24th August at 9.30!
We will be open everyday for just two weeks from 9.30 until 6.30 (5 on sundays), with live jewellery demonstrations from our fine crafters, interactive workshops and a special massage treat from our friend at Meridian Massage happening everyday!
