Bazaar Inspirations Handmade Market in association with LoveCreate Festival


On the 14th July Bazaar Inspiration’s will be setting up in the Regency Suite at Weston-Super-Mare pier, the market will run from 11-3 alongside live entertainment workshops. We have a lovely array of stalls featuring a range of handcrafted treasures from Upcycled Clothes and Accessories, Silver, Gemstone and Steampunk Jewellery to Ceramic and Stained-glass Homewares, and Original Art.

The LoveCreate Festival, which is being launched in Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday 14th July 2012, is a new annual celebration of music, arts and crafts.

The festival has been inspired by the life of talented graphic designer Hayley Dowdell, who was a much loved lecturer but tragically died in November 2011 aged 27 from Cystic Fibrosis. The LoveCreate team have come together to mark the life of Hayley by sharing and celebrating the music, arts and crafts of the West Country.

There will be a daytime arts, crafts and dance event running on the beach and upstairs on the Grand Pier from 11am-3pm, with a £1 suggested entrance fee and donations welcome. The event will feature bellydancing, graffiti, t-shirt printing and family photography. The evening event will see LoveCreate take over all of the Grand Pier and will run from 7.30pm-late and will include a bar, DJs and a night of amazing live music including local bands Magnus Puto, Parnell Page, The Transpersonals, Sarah Evans and Inn Technicolour. Tickets are £12 on the door or £10 in advance.

Bazaar Inspirations Handmade Market

On the 10th and 11th June Bazaar Inspiration’s will take over the courtyard of Windmill Hill City Farm, with over 20 stalls featuring a range of handcrafted treasures; from jewellery, accessories and upcycled clothing to homewares, toys, and prints. Designs by new and upcoming local artists using a variety of traditional methods, sustainable techniques and recycled materials.

Bazaar Inspirations aims to support emerging artists in the community by facilitating a fun, relaxing environment for customer and artists alike. Sister to The Fabulous Travelling Bag Folk, this will be Bazaar Inspirations second creative venture, with live entertainment, interactive demonstrations and the odd creative workshop to compliment the art.  

Big Green Week will take place all over Bristol from the 9th June to the 17th with various venue's hosting different events and activites, culminating in the Bristol Bike Ride and the Festival of Nature.
