Carmen Garaghon of Fitzroy will be hosting a fabulous Fabric Rose workshop throughout the day on the 30th March at the Arnolfini. 

For a mere £5 make a beautiful Fabric Rose. Choose a ready made flower sprayed on Fabric. Cut fabric. Back with lovely vintage fabrics. Stitch around. Stuff and add stem.. simple!!
All ages and skill levels are welcome. (Please note under 7's must be accompanied by an adult) Gain some new skills in hand sewing and try your hand at using a sewing machine. 

Running time approx 45 mins to 1 hour.

Not long to go now until a magnificent army of artisans will descend on the arnolfini for a day of music, workshops and shopping. This event really has everything covered from clothes and accessories to homeware essentials and luxury goods all hand crafted locally with love and care. 
Now that's not all there will be a trained masseuse to work out any of those tight knots left from 2012. Workshops for you crafty types and I've even heard rumors of an Easter Egg Hunt. 
In The Milkwood are curating the music and have secured us a great supply of local talent. There will be a tea stand cleverly located close to the cakes for those who feel thirsty or peckish.  This ragtag bunch of handpicked Designers, artisans and musicians are looking forward to aiding us in hosting this wonderful FREE family event.
