Im an illustrator and I love people and what they do. My ideas come from being a father of three mini-maniacs who encourage me and inspire me in equal measure and working part time in retail where I encounter a great range of faces and manners.

Holly grew up sometimes in Devon and sometimes on a boat being home schooled, nose firmly in a book while her father merrily sailed the family part way around the world!
On returning to the UK, she fell in love with textile art and all hobbies making.
After a brief spell in the commercial and corporate world she returned to full time making and started creating quirky little pictures as gifts for friends and family.
This hobby soon became the busy and chirpy business it is today. Holly, now based in Portishead, specializes in using free style machine embroidery and appliqué to create her contemporary and kooky pieces – gifts of pictures, bags, cushions, aprons, cards and bunting. Each piece is unique and made on a commission basis, is designed, made and framed by Holly…though her son has recently taken a paid role in the business, and is Post Office Boy….luckily he’s just 10 so the fee is mainly chocolate brownies....
I make a lot of imaginary 2D and 3D characters and landscapes for them to live within. My work is mainly based in drawing and making. I have recently also started making handmade jewellery using some found images as well as my own drawings. I have since September 2012 been a member of the lovely Blaze Studio & Shop on Colston Street.
