I am an illustrator and portraitist based in Taunton. Having taught art at secondary and A level for 14 years I thought it was about time I followed my own dreams since I had been encouraging and inspiring so many to follow theirs.
Since I went freelance 2 years ago I have written and illustrated 2 children's books and been working on a graphic novel, as well as taking commissions and doing the convention circuit. My work varies from comic and manga illustration to traditional portraits and pet portraits to logo and graphic design. I will be holding my first solo exhibition at Roots cafe in Taunton in April.

Hello, my name is Larissa. I am a photographer ....  and mother, wife, cleaner, chef, organiser, planner, entertainer, reader of bed time stories, kisser of scuffed knees and an all-round creator of beautiful things.
I started Giggleicious Photography after the birth of my daughter 7 years ago when I discovered just how much I love capturing the vitality and joy in children and the love and warmth in a family. My love is producing the wonderful experience in my photo shoots where families and children can not just be themselves, but be the best of themselves. It is also to produce some lovely images for families to share and look back in years to come. It’s a moment in time.

My background is in illustration and I studied at Norwich School of Art & Design a looooong time ago. The time and detail I would spend on my illustrations is put into every photograph I take and every image I show you.  I am based in Chepstow, Monmouthshire and am blessed to be amongst some of the most beautiful countryside and woodland in the UK.

Martha Ford is a Bristol-based illustrator, animator, a member of Drawn in Bristol( http://drawninbristol.co.uk ) and 1 of the seven ladies at the 'Upstairs at BS8' shop.
This illustrator takes a playful and explorative approach to her work and in addition to traditional painting and drawing skills; she enhances her images with handmade textures, hand drawn patterns and digital techniques.

She creates curious, colourful and weird little worlds that are often surreal and sometimes a little eerie; using her imagery to tell stories and evoke feelings of exploration and often, isolation.

With an interest in far too many things, she gets most of her inspiration from the natural world around her and years and years of reading as many books and stories as she could get her messy hands on.

Chouchou [pron: shushu] is a French word used to express your love for something that is dear to you. Many of you would use it to describe your favorite handbag, teacup, photo or painting.

For us Chouchou is about fighting the stigma of vanity often associated with these beautiful things whether that be fashion, homewares, jewellery & art. First and foremost we are about reusing, renewing, recycling, redecorating, recreating and “re-viewing” anything with a fresh pair of eyes and seeing it in a new light.

We want to bring things back to their original glory, allowing them to become your chouchou again.

Thanks to our craftiness and creativity we hope to promote products that despite being made out of recycled materials, are chic but inexpensive, inexpensive but high quality and a quality that is both functional and unique.

Through our business we would also like to showcase some beautiful hand-made, artisan products made in the EU, such us porcelain and pottery supporting folkloric art.

Im an illustrator and I love people and what they do. My ideas come from being a father of three mini-maniacs who encourage me and inspire me in equal measure and working part time in retail where I encounter a great range of faces and manners.

I have always had a passion for baking, I love experimenting with new recipes and adding my own twists. I have been baking since I was little, but in the last few years it has become more than just a hobby. I started producing cakes for friends and family, weddings, birthday, anniversarys etc. It had always been just for fun, but last year I decided that this was my passion, so I wanted to make it my career.

At Charlotte's Cakes 'n' Bakes we specialise in delicious cupcakes, brownies, biscuits and other large cakes, as well as bespoke cakes for special occassions. We also offer more unique gifts, such as cupcake bouquets and giant cupcakes.

We offer a range of flavours from classic vanilla, rich chocolate and delicious mocha, to more exotic coconut and pineapple, black bottom and caketail cakes (those with a splash of alcohol.)

All the cakes are handmade and hand decorated at my home in Bristol, I pride myself in ensuring every cake not only looks gorgeous but that every bite tastes deliciously yummy :-)

Hannah graduated from University College Falmouth in 2008 with a B/A Hons in Illustration.

The intermission has been a bit of a voyage of discovery that has spanned across Cumbria (her homeland), BC, Canada and the Italian Dolomites.  She is now landed in Bristol intent on seeking her fortune as a busy and important illustrator and creator of handmade goodies.

Her work is fuelled by a variety of influences (her travels and every day experience for one) and the sheer delight of simply creating. Hannah’s illustration work incorporates lively, linear drawing, hand rendered typography and collage.  Textile products often incorporate her own drawings but she is also interested in upcycling fabric and former products to give them a new lease of life.

Her products include greetings cards and prints, bunting and cushions, t-shirts and accessories
